DSMC In The Yorkshire Dales
New Premises Site Build

DSMC Head Office Development Update

DSMC are pleased to share the latest progress on our new purpose‑built premises in the Yorkshire Dales. Close to the centre of the UK, we are well located to support our nationwide operations. A well‑designed, bespoke facility created to support our continued growth and enhance the services we provide, whilst demonstrating the responsibility we place on environmental stewardship through enhanced biodiversity features, sustainable landscaping and habitat‑supporting measures.

Construction across the site continues to move forward steadily into 2026, with each phase bringing us closer to opening a facility that reflects our values and long‑term vision. The design focuses on sustainability and efficiency ensuring the new premises will serve our team and clients for generations to come.

Once complete, the new premises will offer:

  • Four portal buildings with 'intensive', wildflower turfed roofs, set around a central courtyard. These will hold our offices, workshops and equipment, forming the main working part of the site.

  • A fifth stone barn building, overlooking the others, furnished as a reception building with meeting and training facilities.

  • A 4-metre deep, indoor dive tank for equipment testing and training.

  • Purpose-built Hyperbaric recompression facilities.

  • A modern, collaborative workspace designed to support our growing team.

This development represents a major investment in DSMC’s future and strengthens our ability to deliver high‑quality services.

Latest updates

We will continue to share updates as the project progresses. With Building B approaching completion and further milestones on the horizon there will be plenty to share! We look forward to welcoming clients, partners and the local community at the new DSMC premises very soon.

Project Updates

Progress on Site

18th March 2026

Significant milestones have been reached, including:

  • The majority of the groundworks, ducting and drainage have been completed.

  • Landscaping and external works are beginning to take shape including a significant amount of the planting scheme.

  • Building B is now nearing completion. This building is a bespoke workshop designed to house our recompression chambers and other specialist equipment. It also holds a significantly larger workshop than our previous site.

  • The steelwork for building C, the two story office building, has been erected ready for cladding and blockwork.

The near‑completion of Building B marks an exciting step forward, providing the operational backbone of the new DSMC Head Office.
